JOIN US FOR DINNER AND A COMMUNITY MEETING

Plumas County Behavioral Health needs your input!  We are holding community dinner meetings throughout the county to provide stakeholders (any county resident) with updated information concerning the Mental Health Services Act programs and services.  Learn about the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) and how it benefits our communities. Share your ideas on how we can improve mental health programs and services.  Dinner is provided, and we’ll have prize drawings too!

MHSA stands for Mental Health Services Act, which is otherwise known as Proposition 63 and was passed by California voters in 2004.  The purpose of MHSA is to address serious mental illness in all age ranges by providing services not previously available, and to reduce the impacts of untreated mental illness.  Please share your thoughts and ideas with us!  To confirm your spot for dinner, please contact Aimee Heaney, Plumas County MHSA Coordinator, no later than the Friday before the meeting at (530) 283-6307, ext. 1016 or aheaney@pcbh.services.
