  •  Project READ [encouragement to parents/caregivers on the importance of reading to children; free books to children and youth]
  •  Project ALIVE [education and reading assistance to adults with disabilities]
All classes are available in English or Spanish at the Portola Location.

Note: Quincy Literacy Program is currently unavailable. Please leave your contact information with the Quincy Library Staff and the County Librarian will get back to you as soon as possible. Meanwhile, if you are looking for help in getting your GED, please contact Nina Martynn at 530-283-6500 ext 5269 for their GED prep and testing course. They are also providing help for High School Completion Courses and resume and employment skills.

Please contact the County Librarian if you are interested in having your business join Project READ, in which we deliver a basket of free books for your customers to take in an effort to encourage child reading.
