The Tax Collector function involves responsibility for the billing, collection and accounting for all personal and real property taxes levied in the county.  Further, the Tax Collector collects taxes on mobile homes, business license fees in the unincorporated area, transient occupancy tax, and various other taxes and special assessments.

Centralized Collections is a division of the Treasurer/Tax Collector's office.  Collections include, but are not limited to, court ordered fines, restitution and traffic citations, public defender fees, superior court filing fees, probation fees, library fines, and dog shelter fees.
